1. Responsibility for Customs Obligations
For international orders, the consignee (package recipient) is liable for all duties, import taxes, and customs fees due at the time of delivery. These charges are not included in your order total at checkout and must be paid directly to the customs authority of your country upon receipt of the package.
2. Calculation of Import Duties
- Duty amounts vary by country and depend on the tariff policies of the destination nation.
- Shipments via USPS First Class (our standard international method) are subject to customs regulations specific to your country.
- To minimize potential duties, we typically declare an invoice value between $20–$150 USD and mark packages as “gifts,” though final duties are determined by your country’s customs agency.
3. Customized Declaration Values
If you have specific requirements for the declared value on the shipping invoice, please contact us at [email protected]. Without instructions, we will adjust the declared value based on package weight and size (typically $20–$150 USD).
4. Customs Clearance Support
In the event of customs-related delays or issues:
- We will cover applicable customs clearance fees.
- Provide you with the shipping invoice for presentation to customs.
- Assist in liaising with USPS to resolve clearance challenges on your behalf.
